Marine Business Technology Centre's latest recruits

All positions have been filled for the Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC), which is based within Endeavour House at Oceansgate, and part-funds Endurance Court’s industrial units, using funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

The MBTC originated from a City Deal programme led by Plymouth, set up to support the marine and maritime sectors and their supply chains to thrive.  The MBTC partners include Plymouth City Council, University of Plymouth, University of Exeter, Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the Marine Biological Association.

The Director for the project, Rob Watson, joins us from Hampshire County Council where he headed up the Business Growth Team.  Rob’s role in the council supported businesses either looking to invest in the county or grow their existing business in the region.
