Marine Business Technology Centre Survey
14 Nov 2018
The Marine Businesses Technology Centre (MBTC) is seeking advice from the Marine and Maritime sector to find out what this sector wants from them, they would be grateful if you could spare 5 minutes to fill out this very short survey.
The purpose of this survey is to engage industry directly with the view that any innovation service or support mechanism is fit for purpose and relevant to the needs of business now and in the future. It is imperative that the Marine sector is an active partner in this programme in order for it to be a success. We therefore welcome your input in developing the innovation offer for the Marine sector in the UK.
The Marine Business Technology Centre is a Devon based programme to support marine innovation. The MBTC will be a dedicated team delivering a new service to marine businesses, and their supply chains, to enable them to test and develop new technologies in the waters off Devon principally, and in and around Plymouth Sound.
The MBTC is anchored in, and has access to, the Oceansgate Marine Enterprise Zone – the first in the UK – and includes access to enhanced marine test facilities and innovation support across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. It is a collaboration between Plymouth City Council (PCC), and its ‘knowledge partners’: University of Plymouth (UP), University of Exeter (UE), Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) and the Marine Biological Association (MBA).
If you would like more information about the MBTC please email MBTC@plymouth.gov.uk, or call 07760271707.
