Plymouth-based manufacturing business, Lang & Potter, is expanding to take units at Plymouth City Council’s new developments, Oceansgate in South Yard, Devonport and Hearder Court at Langage Science Park.
Lang & Potter’s marine division is growing, with the company adding two more workshops to their four existing sites and creating 12 new jobs.
“We’re proud to be a Plymouth-based business that is growing and expanding. Plymouth City Council’s new developments provide flexible spaces for us to base our business and the location of Oceansgate in particular means that we can be closer to our principal customers.”
David Potter, Managing Director of Lang & Potter
Their marine company, which specialises in luxury yacht furnishings, have been working closely with Princess Yachts for many years and have become market leaders in their industry.
“I am delighted to welcome another fantastic tenant to Oceansgate and Hearder Court. Expanding our marine and manufacturing industries is crucial to ensuring growth and better jobs across the city.
“The aim for Oceansgate was to create a marine enterprise zone which would bring suppliers and customers closer together, thanks to the site’s proximity to companies like Princess Yachts and Babcock, so it’s fantastic to see that providing real benefits for local businesses.”
Councillor Tudor Evans, Leader of Plymouth City Council
