Arrival of exciting new tenant for Oceansgate

Oceansgate is very excited to announce the arrival of Mecal, who will be moving into suite 4 of Endeavour House late summer 2019.

Mecal will be joining The Maritime and Coastal Agency and The Marine Business Technology Centre in our Phase 1 office accommodation.

Since changing ownership in 2001 Mecal has grown to become one of the most highly respected and successful UK Small Commercial Vessel & Workboat Certifying Authorities.

Mecal is directly authorised by UK Dept for Transport & works with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency in developing & applying UK Regulations in this important sector of the UK marine industry, including the exciting new technologies of Autonomous & Hybrid Vessels.

Mecal currently has in excess of 1550 Commercial Vessels on their Register, supported by a worldwide network of 90 Professional Surveyors & Naval Architects.
