Marine Innovation Centre
Oceansgate’s Marine Innovation Centre will provide workshop, laboratory and office space on flexible terms to allow for project work and early stage product development. It will also boast conference facilities for necessary incubation and acceleration programmes and showcasing – overlooking the waterside estate.
It is hoped to host core and satellite activity for regional programmes (such as Defence & Security Accelerator, UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) innovation, SW Centre for Excellence in Satellite Applications, IDTC Strength in Places, and such like) at this future prime venue.
Other benefits will include a managed reception desk, a bistro style café, break out space to encourage collaboration and a multi-storey car park.
This will be Oceansgate’s landmark building that unlocks Phase 3 and ties together the whole site, including the Naval Heritage Centre to incorporate as an old with new technology feature – allowing visitors to leverage share café and conference facilities
